Coverage Options
Understanding your coverage options helps you build a policy that protects what matters — without paying for what you don't need.
Liability Insurance
Covers injury and property damage you cause to others. Georgia requires $25,000 per person, $50,000 per accident, and $25,000 property damage — the legal minimum if your car is paid off.
Full Coverage
Bundles liability, collision, and comprehensive into one policy. Worth it if your vehicle is worth over $5,000 or financed — otherwise liability alone often costs less than the combined premium increase.
Collision Coverage
Pays to repair your car after a crash, regardless of fault. Deductibles range from $500 to $2,000 — choose the highest deductible you can afford to lower the premium.
Comprehensive Coverage
Covers theft, vandalism, weather, and animal strikes. Costs 30–50% less than collision and makes sense even on older vehicles in areas with high theft or hail risk.
Uninsured Motorist Coverage
Protects you when the at-fault driver has no insurance. Georgia does not require it, but 12% of Georgia drivers are uninsured — the third-highest rate in the Southeast.
